Introduction: Red Yellow Blue

A triadic color scheme contains three colors, evenly placed in the color wheel. Such vibrant color combinations can be overwhelming if they are not properly balanced. This painting series, Red, Yellow, Blue (acrylic on raw canvas), attempts to capture rhythm, movement and a sense of depth. One primary color serves as the ground* and the other two serve as accents against the ground. Black is used to add rhythm and breaks in the movement.

Note: It is very difficult to photograph Red. The camera turns the bluish red into crimson. If I adjust the Kelvin for a cooler image, the yellow turns greenish.

注：赤を撮影するのは非常に困難です。 カメラは青みがかった赤を深紅色に変えます。 ケルビンを調整してより涼しい画像にすると、黄色が緑がかった色に変わります。
