The
giant otter subsists mainly on fish. It is more aquatic than most
other otters; it can hold its breath under water and it has webbed
feet for swimming. It has no serious predators except humans who poach
it for pelts, kill it to reduce competition for fish, and is subjected
to mercury and other toxins in the river from gold mining.
Cat’s Eye Nebula (NGC 6543) is a planetary nebula. Its sun-like
dying star is in its heights. Regular convulsion is probably the cause
of the outer layers of dusty concentric shell, though its complex
inner structure is not well understood. |
