Also known as Asiatic wild dog, the dhole is native to Central, S and SE Asia. It is a highly social animal living in large clans without rigid dominance hierarchies. Herbig-Haro 24 contains 2 cosmic jets beaming outward from a newborn star. The opposing jets blasting out along the system’s rooting axis, cutting through the region’s interstellar matter, produce a series of glowing shock fronts.
