St. Paul's Cathedral

This cathedral, designed by Sir Christopher Wren, is the 5th to be built on top of Ludgate Hill, the highest point of the City of London. It survived the Blitz despite bombs dropped on it on 3 occasions.

Paul, a zealous Jew, persecuted early followers of Jesus until his own “resurrection” experience. He was equally fervid about his newfound belief. His missionary efforts earned him the title “founder” of the Christian religion.
